Adam Lee Reyna Obituary, Taylor County, TX Accident Death: In Loving Memory

A 26-year-old man has tragically lost his life in a devastating crash involving a semi-truck and a pickup truck at the intersection of Highway 351 and County Road 504. The incident occurred Tuesday evening, just before 5:00 p.m., and has left both a community and a family grappling with the sudden loss.

The victim, identified as Adam Lee Reyna, was traveling in his pickup truck when a semi-truck driven by 68-year-old Miguel Angel Casanova collided with him. Casanova, who was traveling westbound on County Road 504, failed to yield at a stop sign, resulting in a catastrophic crash. The impact caused Reyna’s truck to burst into flames and become fully engulfed, leading to his death at the scene. Authorities have confirmed that Reyna’s passing was instantaneous.

Casanova, who sustained only minor injuries, was taken to a local emergency care facility for treatment. Upon investigation, it was revealed that he was under the influence due to an overdose of medication at the time of the crash. He has since been arrested and charged with Intoxication Manslaughter, and is currently being held on a $100,000 bond.
